This is the cutest thing I ever stumbled upon. So cute in fact that I posted about it on The Estate of Things. Check it out, this young lady is running her own Sno-Cone business out of her Vintage Shasta Camper Trailer. She did a really great job of having it renovated. I love the Canned Ham style of the late 50s early 60s models..

This is an older model than mine, but its the same size and original layout. They really restored to the basics. Its nice and clean and pretty and it looks so dreamy in that forest pic with the blurry corners.

Read about it here if you wanna.
Seriously, we have to take a break from the Vintage Shasta Camper Trailer for just a bit. Why? Cause I just purchased plane tickets to Europe for March - and every dollar that might otherwise have gone into Gypsy Lifestyle Paraphanalia must be put in a jar. I’m saving my duckets for hopping on and off trains in Germany, Austria, Italy and France.

These plans have me spinning into a frenzy of fantasyland in my head. I awoke last night from a dream of walking slowly on amazing marble floors, through a German library, sipping on some ice cream kaffe with shelves full of books, stacked at least four stories above my head. Ha. I was mesmerized and totally happy and I had only just arrived.
Planning out a possible route is overwhelming and totally fun. I’m learning alot as I tear through online resources about traveling abroad. Below is a possible route that we can take. But seriously - I’m gonna be happy going anywhere. I guess the idea is to create an itinerary of some sort - but something loose - Must leave room in case you just need to follow your nose.
This rough draft of a route includes an arrival in Munich, some time in Innsbruck with the traveling partner’s Bruder und Schwagerin. Vienna (this adds several train hours but is something I’m told shouldn’t be missed). From there, south for a long ride to Florence. Then back up - toward Pisa - along the Mediterranean coast, and through Provincial France to Paris for a departure. This is a pretty agressive plan - so we’ll see if its possible. May have to trim a little off the tracks. Ah - but how would I know!!?

I’m trying to make this song relevant to the message here, but you can try to figure it out for yourself - or just listen to a pretty song.

Online shopping, and I found the solar package, I think! Just need the approval of a certain pair of “green” eyes.
The advice I was given included an expectation of about $10 per watt on a solar panel. These are 15 watts and on sale for $79.99 at NorthernTool.com, so that makes them a steal…. Yay!

I’ll have TWO please!! - Wait? Really.. How many watts does one girl need?
Portable Solar Pack? - Dad liked this thing and it sounded neato to me - but I dunno!??? I believe that he meant to get this instead of the car battery - but I can’t remember if he was serious, or if he just thought it was neat?? I like to picture myself atop a mountain for hours with my laptop and my dog!! Checking my Facebook page!!?

Digital Charge Controller and the other less illustrious items needed are also available on this site, but now I can’t find the correct inverter. I’ll be back with a better solution for that.

This is a totally sweet idea for the cabinets.
Of course, I must enclose mine - but I like the woodgrain inside the white. Maybe I can use some plexi glass on the cabinet doors. hmmmm….!!!?
