Break Away
by Gypsy
Seriously, we have to take a break from the Vintage Shasta Camper Trailer for just a bit. Why? Cause I just purchased plane tickets to Europe for March - and every dollar that might otherwise have gone into Gypsy Lifestyle Paraphanalia must be put in a jar. I’m saving my duckets for hopping on and off trains in Germany, Austria, Italy and France.

These plans have me spinning into a frenzy of fantasyland in my head. I awoke last night from a dream of walking slowly on amazing marble floors, through a German library, sipping on some ice cream kaffe with shelves full of books, stacked at least four stories above my head. Ha. I was mesmerized and totally happy and I had only just arrived.
Planning out a possible route is overwhelming and totally fun. I’m learning alot as I tear through online resources about traveling abroad. Below is a possible route that we can take. But seriously - I’m gonna be happy going anywhere. I guess the idea is to create an itinerary of some sort - but something loose - Must leave room in case you just need to follow your nose.
This rough draft of a route includes an arrival in Munich, some time in Innsbruck with the traveling partner’s Bruder und Schwagerin. Vienna (this adds several train hours but is something I’m told shouldn’t be missed). From there, south for a long ride to Florence. Then back up - toward Pisa - along the Mediterranean coast, and through Provincial France to Paris for a departure. This is a pretty agressive plan - so we’ll see if its possible. May have to trim a little off the tracks. Ah - but how would I know!!?
